A brand new music video has been released to an old track by James Arthur, which brings in new light to the song. “Can I Be Him” features on Arthur’s 2016 album ‘Back from the Edge’ released in October. His latest chart topper “Say You Won’t Let Go” too featured on the same album.
“Can I Be Him” was released as an official single last week and got a lot of attention around the media. Hence, this awesome music video followed. The video is directed by Felix Urbauer. The video is cinematic and shows an adorable relationship between a couple and James Arthur wishing it was him there with her.

The lyrics to the song are simple and talks about how James Arthur is infatuated with the girl and quite envious of the solid relationship they are having.

The music video does not show the couple having any fights or breakups or any sort of heartbreaks. So I’m assuming the singer just assures that he will not make her cry and whatever puts her down, he will be there for her.

At the end of the video, it shows another girl smiling at James Arthur while he is confessing his love in these lyrics. It shows that oftentimes while we are busy over crushing on people that we can’t have, we tend to miss the ones who are really interested in us.
