6ix9ine – YAYA | English Lyrics Meaning & Song Review

Tekashi 6ix9ine is on a roll as his third single in 2020 drops by the name of “YAYA.” And he just got out of prison in March 2020 and is still under house arrest. So it comes as little surprise that all three music videos released have the same setting–one backyard room with different wallpapers. However, he makes it work.

The new single follows “GOOBA” and “TROLLZ,” and the latter features Nicki Minaj. Both singles made quite an impact in the hip hop industry due to the shock factor of 6ix9ine returning to music during his prison sentence. Both previous singles touched on his haters who thought his career was over after his imprisonment. However, on “YAYA,” 6ix9ine talks about his infatuation with the ladies–and by the looks of the music video, well endowed ladies at that.

However, unlike his previous two singles, 6ix9ine performs the entire “YAYA” track in Spanish.

English Translations of the Lyrics

Translation of the lyrics of “YAYA” lands us at 6ix9ine talking about his fantasies with women.

Don’t stop moving because I love that
Baby, give me one, one taste

And his intentions are devilish, as much as those of the girls he get with;

It’s clear that she isn’t a saint
She’s like me, who likes the evil

In the second verse, 6ix9ine sings about the power this/these girl/s hold over him. He says that he wants women who are beautiful (and obviously quite curvy, as evident from the music video), and women who do not fall in love. He is not looking for love at this point. Tekashi also gives high praise to these women. He says that these women are so good at sex, that he would just graduate these women from his sex school.

She is beautiful, but she doesn’t fall in love
Mami, and for f*cking I must give you a diploma

None equals you

Tekashi also name drops one of the biggest hits by Shakira titled “Waka Waka,” which was the 2010 Official FIFA Worldcup Anthem. He tributes his beautiful girls dancing to the ecstatic dance choreographies of Shakira.
