Post Malone – Psycho Ft. Ty Dolla $ign (Lyrics Review and Song Meaning)
The third single “Psycho” from Post Malone’s sophomore album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys,’ made a hot shot debut on Billboard Hot 100 chart at #2 position. This got our attention, as some of Post Malone’s latest work has been praised by many. His previous single “Rockstar” from the same album became a major success around the world and propelled him to a new limelight.
In the new single “Psycho,” accompanied by Ty Dolla $ign, Malone sings about the luxuries this life has earned him. Everything from diamond bling to expensive cars to expensive liquor to expensive women, Post Malone knows how to spend his money.
I made my first million, I’m like, “Shit, this is it,” ayy
30 for a walkthrough, man, we had that bitch lit, ayy
Malone talks about earning his first million and him thinking that this is as big as he would get. But now he gets paid 30,000 dollars just to appear in clubs and parties. Life has really hyped up for Malone.

Malone’s previous hit “Rockstar” has a whole different appeal to this song. In “Rockstar” he talks about the pitfalls of fame and money. But, one single later, in “Psycho,” Malone talks about living it up.
My money thick, won’t ever fold
She said, “Can I have some to hold?”
And I can’t ever tell you no
Malone has stacks and stacks of cash that are too thick to fold now. He spends them lavishly on cars, watches, high street fashion and women.
Ty Dollar $ign joins in on the song from the second verse and he does not hold back about bragging his luxuries. Convertibles, Rolex watches, luxury cocktails and expensive women are in his portfolio.
Damn, my AP goin’ psycho, lil’ mama bad like Michael
The title of the song, “Psycho” could refer to the fact that he is living a crazy life filled with the finest things money can afford. AP is said to be referring to Audemars Piguet-a high end Swiss wristwatch manufacturer.
The audio track released has an artwork of a wolf at an industrial wasteland, gnarling at something. Is Malone the lonely wolf? Let us know in the comments below.
