Ariana Grande Covers “HUMBLE.” and “God’s Plan” at Jimmy Fallon

Credits to the team at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for introducing the innovative and creative game called ‘Musical Genre Challenge.’ Participating artist take stage with Jimmy Fallon to spin the wheel, where a computer generated algorithm will match a popular song with a random musical genre. The artist and Jimmy Fallon try to perform the song in the given genre to the best of their abilities. It’s difficult and it is refreshing to see.

On the latest release of the Musical Genre Challenge on Jimmy Fallon, we saw Ariana Grande taking up seemingly impossible challenges. She had to perform Kendrick Lamar’s hit single “HUMBLE.” in Evanescence-style goth-rock and Drake’s 2018 hit “God’s Plan” in ’90s diva hit style. It was quite impressive to say the least.

Even Jimmy Fallon does not back down from the challenge. He takes up the challenge to cover Ed Sheeran’s hit single “Shape Of You” in Ska genre and Usher’s hit “Yeah!” in Country genre. A little fumble here and there, and Fallon managed to successfully complete his end of the challenge.

Musical Genre Challenge is a quite popular item on Jimmy Fallon show, with participation of some of the biggest stars such as Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and more.
