Watch Taylor Swift’s ‘Miss Americana’ Biopic Trailer | Review

As Swifties, we do know the life of Taylor Alison Swift quite thoroughly. From her music to her preferences to her pets to her family, Taylor’s life has always been on display. Admittedly, this extensive knowledge of her personal life is also responsible for her failed romances to some extent. However, in this new documentary biopic, ‘Miss Americana,’ Taylor Swift will deep-dive into even more personal notes of her life.

The trailer for ‘Miss Americana’ biopic on Netflix was released today, January 22, 2020. The 2-minute trailer gives us some previews into what we can expect from the documentary. From her early beginnings in Nashville, to becoming one of the most powerful and influential voices in the world, Taylor Swift has come a long way.

“Throughout my whole career, label executives would just say “a nice girl doesn’t force their opinions on people. A nice girl smiles and waves and says thank you.” I became the person everyone wanted me to be” says Taylor Swift giving an introduction to the trailer.

From being cat-called, body-shamed and over-sexualized for her list of boyfriends, Taylor Swift became the subject of the media for so long. This made her disappear for over a year. “It woke me up from constantly feeling like fighting for people’s respect. It was happiness without anyone else’s input,” says Taylor Swift about her awakening from being battered down by the media.

The documentary will go into private moments of Taylor Swift’s life from the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. But in the end, it is a story of a little girl from Nashville making global waves.
