“Believe It” is the tenth track on PARTYNEXTDOOR’s 2020 album ‘PARTYMOBILE.’ Thanks to this album, we get to hear Rihanna after ‘nobody knows how long.’ Check out the song review below.
“Believe It” is a dialogue between a couple who asks each other to believe in them. Trust is an important element in any strong and lasting relationship. “Believe you won’t deceive me” is the request and promise by PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rihanna on this track.
In this song, PARTYNEXTDOOR is heard singing that there is no need to bring up past issues now. He asks the girl if he confesses his past sins, would she forgive him? Would his past hold against their future together? Everybody needs a second chance. Everybody learns through mistakes.
Listen to “Believe It” by PARTYNEXTDOOR & Rihanna
On the second verse of the song, PARTYNEXTDOOR says “There’s two sides to the story.” So it’s important to give him a chance to come clean. But he also says that his ex-girl has good PR, so likely her side of the story is true. So she might abuse this good PR to spread a lie about him.
The two verses on the song are about PARTYNEXTDOOR trying to convince Rihanna that it is not about their past, but their future that matters. So believe it when he says that he is committed now.
