Selena Gomez is back with some new music and visuals. “Single Soon” was a track recorded for her third studio album ‘Rare’ from 2020, but was scrapped from the album. The song tries to put a positive spin on an impending breakup where Selena is the one calling the shots.
Produced by benny blanco and Cashmere Cat, the song finds Selena Gomez as the one walking away from a relationship. The upbeat track was on August 25, 2023, just before the Summer faded away. Releasing the song, Selena Gomez told her fans that more new music is on the way;
“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while. Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.”
