Ed Sheeran Covers “I’m In Love With The CoCo” and “Dirrty”
Ed Sheeran was on BBC Radio 1 last night with his BFF Taylor Swift. They faced an interview together-a fun one, several games and what not. But the highlight of the night was when Ed Sheeran covered two famous songs. He covered O.T. Genasis’s “I’m In Love With The CoCo” and Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty“. It was quite amazing. Ed Sheeran performed the two songs on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. “I’m In Love With The CoCo” was a full on acoustic cover helped by his guitar, and “Dirrty” was aided by a keyboard. Loved every bit of it. Take a look at the two covers below.
Ed Sheeran Covers O.T. Genasis’s “I’m In Love With The CoCo” Acoustic
Essentially “I’m In Love With The CoCo” is a song about *cough* baking soda *cough*. It’s about drugs, LOL. And if there’s one person who can make an emotional song out of a song about drugs, it would be Ed Sheeran. And that’s exactly what he did with this O.T. Genasis cover. He pretty much made an unique rendition out of the original track. Give that man a cake! Don’t worry though, Ed doesn’t do drugs.
Ed Sheeran Covers Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” Live
This is just pure beauty. Christina Aguilera would have been proud. Ed Sheeran managed to put an amazing work over the classic track. The cover was on a whole other level.
We are quite convinced there is no genre Ed Sheeran cannot conquer. Acoustic, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, Rock (maybe?) and everything else is his strong suite. He is destined for greatness.
