iLOVEFRiDAY – Mia Khalifa Diss (Lyrics, Video Review and Song Meaning)

iLOVEFRiDAY is a hip-hop duo from Atlanta, named Xeno Carr and Smoke Hijabi. Their 2018 song “Travel Ban” brought them to them the spotlight. However, their most popular song is named “Mia Khalifa” spun out of a diss on the retired adult-video star.

The inspiration for “Mia Khalifa” diss began when Smoke Hijabi misread a fake Tweet of retired adult-video star Mia Khalifa that was posted on the Instagram page trashpump. This led to iLOVEFRiDAY duo writing and producing the lyrics, music and the video for this song that is going viral at the moment. The song was originally released in February 2018.

The entire song is about sex work-comparing adult-video stars to be prostitutes doing anything for money.

In “Mia Khalifa” track we see many references to the real Mia Khalifa who has retired from adult-videos after a luxurious career in the industry. Xeno Carr is heard asking if she regrets her decisions to get in the adult-video industry and if she wishes she could change her past.

Who is Mia Khalifa?

Mia Khalifa was born on February 10, 1993, in Beirut, Lebanon and moved with her family to the United States in January 2001. She entered the adult entertainment industry in October 2014 and shot to publicity with a variety of acting. She was most notoriously known for adult-videos recorded with her in a Hijab-which a lot of Muslims found disgraceful. This even led to her getting death threats from the terrorist group ISIS, which led to her retirement from the industry in 2015.

She was ranked #1 in one of the largest adult-video streaming sites in December 2014.

The song was shot back into the spotlight after Tik Tok personality ‘nyannyancosplay’ made a video of it, which included the lyrics “Hit or miss, I guess they never miss, huh?/ You got a boyfriend, I bet he doesn’t kiss ya (Mwah!).” Waatch the video below.
