Surprise! Surprise! A ‘new’ Taylor Swift song has emerged on the Internet from an era that seems too far away. “All Of The Girls You Loved Before” is a scrapped song from Taylor’s ‘Lover’ album era from 2019, but never saw the light of day, until now.
Leading up to March of 2023, bits and pieces of “All Of The Girls” leaked online, and on March 1, 2023, the full song appeared online. According to sources, the song is supposed to display Taylor’s vocal prowess, while narrating a story she is not too alien for. A second track, titled “Need,” also leaked at the same time, allegedly scrapped from the same album.
After the Internet leak, and following the announcement of ‘The Eras Tour,’ Taylor Swift decided to release the full song on March 17, 2023.
‘Lover‘ is the seventh studio album by Taylor Swift and was released on August 23, 2019. The standard edition of the album contains eighteen tracks.
Taylor Swift chooses to take the high road thinking about all the girls her current partner has gone through before. Whoever they were and whatever he has gone through them, every incident, every conversation, and every experience has led him to her now. So, why would she be mad at the past? Would she ever change a thing of the past?

Taylor Swift “All Of The Girls” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review
In the first verse of the song, Taylor talks about a few rotten experiences from her past relationships. She recalls late nights awake thinking and wondering, and long hours of fights on the phone. She remembers waking up next to someone and still feeling alone and empty.
Your past and mine are parallel lines
Stars all aligned, they intertwined
It is pretty wild to think that all of the things that have ever happened in your life, in the lives of people around us, all the people in the world, and every little movement in the universe have led to us listening to this song and you reading this article. The same applies to that one person you meet next who is going to steal your heart.
What if a small thing changed on the day that you came across this person? You would have missed the love of your life due to a traffic light, due to rain, due to a friend’s extended call, and so on.
So, Taylor Swift is glad about whatever happened in his past and her past. Their lives have run in parallel lines (lines that don’t meet) up until a certain point.
It might sound crazy to think that stars had to align for two people to meet seemingly randomly. But, in the seemingly infinite universe, an infinite number of stars would have aligned on that exact second you laid your eyes on your future husband/wife.
We can either be jealous or mad at our lovers’ exes. Or we can follow Taylor Swift and be thankful to them for not locking up our lover. It’s a whole level of ‘glass-half-full’ positivism.
Taylor Swift is almost ashamed to think that there was a time she used to cry over some guy whose name she cannot remember now. When she was sixteen, her love affairs seemed to occupy her entire existence. It was a constant cycle of breaking up and making up. These teenage love affairs battle harden all of us for the real deal to come many more years down the line.
Teenage love taught you there’s good in goodbye
‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’ So, never let a failed romance get you down. It is a mere experience for the real thing to come around the corner.
Taylor Swift would much rather focus on the present and the future and cherish every moment with her lover than think about the past. We all should follow suit!
