Melle Mel diss Eminem realest story

Melle Mel Responds to Eminem’s Diss and Gets Roasted by Everyone

Pretty much every passing year some things are granted to happen at least once. You have your favorite holidays, family visits, school, work, and Eminem getting attacked by someone. This year, it is none other than Melle Mel.

For those of you who have no clue who Melle Mel is, he is an American rapper who was a rather prominent figure in the hip-hop scene in the late 70s to early 80s. He gained some notoriety in the music business as the lead vocalist of the Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five group from the same era. His song “The Message” actually ushered in a new era of rap music addressing actual pressing matters in society. This was also the first hip-hop song to be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Presently, at 62 years old, he is mostly known for his bodybuilding videos.

However, Melle Mel is a racist.

When questioned about Eminem’s status in the hip-hop game, Melle Mel underplayed Eminem’s skills as “capable” and that Eminem will never be a top 5 rapper because he is just white–as if being white somehow diminishes one’s ability to rap. Watch the interview below.

Eminem never takes industry beef to his home. So, he responded to these remarks on his latest collaboration with Ez Mil on “Realest.”

In this song, Eminem threw a jab at Melle Mel by saying that he has lost his mind and his brain is juiced up from all the steroids that he is allegedly using to build his body.

Maybe this actually hurt Melle Mel or he just wanted to gain some attention from this opportunity so he released a whopping 1-minute and 12 second long diss track aimed at Eminem.

The diss track was released on a YouTube channel named Melle Mel’s Hip Hop Corner which has 1,800 subscribers and 7 videos uploaded. His videos average about 1,500 views each and the diss track at Eminem gained 325,000 views–21,600% more than his average.

Some of the most iconic verses from this diss track are;

Like a roach crawled out of your book bag

What?

go to bed with no supper cause you gotta suffer the backlash

It is quite ironic that Melle Mel says Eminem is the one sleeping hungry tonight after this whopping 1-minute 12-second diss track. The Internet has been absolutely demolishing Melle Mel ever since this track was released. We have to wonder how he is sleeping now.

Why they put Pee-Wee Hermon in the Hall of Fame?

What’s the connection of Pee-Wee Hermon, an American comedy actor, to Eminem?

I got a lawyer so white he would take your land

A white lawyer taking a white man’s land? What’s the point Melle Mel is driving here?

Casue I think Eminem is popping pills again…What pill did homie take to hate the greats?

Eminem has been sober for over a decade now. And he is one of the most respectful artists of our generation. He almost pays too much homage to the greats. He never fails to give flowers where they are due.

There is absolutely zero chance that Eminem responds to this diss track, which is being hailed as the ‘worst diss track in hip-hop history.’ This is a pretty leap from a Grammy Hall of Fame artist.

So, why did Melle Mel release this track? The reason is hidden in plain sight. In the description of the diss track video, Melle Mel announces a new album, titled ‘The War.’ Maybe the two events are unconnected. Or maybe, he knows that even bad publicity is good publicity.
