Big Sean Premiers “Win Some, Lose Some” from ‘Dark Sky Paradise’

Big Sean keeps on surprising us. Earlier today he released “One Man Can Change The World” from his upcoming album and honestly, we are very impressed with the track. It’s pretty inspirational and insightful. Just few hours after releasing that track, Big Sean went on to release another song off of ‘Dark Sky Paradise‘, and this is not what we wanted to hear, but it’s a brand new song nonetheless. Big Sean released “Win Some, Lose Some” from the upcoming album and it’s quite good.

The Detroit rapper goes on to speak about the ups and downs in his life, AKA ‘you win some, you lose some’. He raps about his life so far, relationships and money and success.

“I always thought my last girl was supposed to be my last”

He talks about being a role model through his music. He rejects to accept the ‘lose some’ part in the above phrase.

“You win some and you lose some

I heard that my whole life -//

But that doesn’t make it right…”

Big Sean also talks about how Kanye West and Kim Kardashian ‘tied’ the knot, and wanting the kind of life.

The dialog at the end of the track is quite impressive too. A dialog between Big Sean and his father, and his father says;

“See, the mind is a fu*king trickster, it can fu*k you around. But your heart will never lie to you. That’s why people love you, Sean. Because you talk it our from the heart… That’s why you are magical, Sean.”

and he adds, “life is a feeling process…” which resonates at the end of the track. I do think all of this is quite insightful, if you look into it. And it does look like Big Sean is focused on self-discovery in the ‘Dark Sky Paradise’ album.
