Big Booty Obsession? Yay or Nay?

There is a huge craze of booties going on. Who started it? Celebrities of course. Don’t really know when it all started up. But all I know is the mania is higher than ever.

Gorgeous celebrities first appeared on movies. They pretended to sing, danced, stripped and did everything. This trend shifted to music videos for some reason and now most music videos are about showing off how hot they are. The song could be about saving the planet but still the singer would be wearing a short skirt, a bikini on a beach or a spandex etc. That is how it has invaded the music industry.

Nicki Minaj is ruining the music videos (industry as well IMO). Look at this ‘Anaconda’ music video and tell me what is really in it…

There is absolutely no ‘music’ in it. Just a creepy woman dancing like a worm. She has a big booty. I really don’t care.

Jennifer Lopez got caught in the hype too. J Lo and Iggy Azalea combined to make a music video just to showcase their bodies. They were sensible enough to name the song ‘Booty’, so that no one will get confused.

So that’s what is left of the so called ‘hit music’. Just random shots of grinding on each other in revealing outfits. Booties seem to be the main focus. Kudos to J Lo for maintaining that body at her age-but that was not necessary for her.

Twerking popularized in the beginning of 2015 and it helped the booty mania along its way. Miley Cyrus ran with it. Apparently there’s a hall of fame (shame) for it too.

I think it would be safe to name 2015 as the year of the booty and selfies.

My personal opinion: I don’t like big anything. Anybody’s body should be proportionate-male and female both. One part of a body being disproportionate is not attractive in my opinion. Hey, that’s just me. Let me know what you think.
