Watch Jay-Z Perform “Numb/Encore” in Tribute to Chester of Linkin Park

Jay-Z appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform some of the best of the best from his discography. What stood out from the night of awesome vibes was the performance of “Numb/Encore” taking us back to 2004. This mash up of Jay-Z’s “Encore” and Linkin Park’s “Numb” still gives goosebumps to the fans. Jay-Z dedicated the song to late great Chester Bennington who departed this world in July 2017.

Jay-Z and LP made a full EP of six songs remixing best of their works into ‘Collision Course’ which was released in 2004.

Starting the “Numb/Encore” Jay-Z says “dedicate this song to Chester…” and goes into a mode of trance where words just slip out of his mouth in the perfect tune that we heard a decade ago.
