sophie turner sansa stark eminem the real slim shady rap

GOT’s Sophie Turner Spit Fires Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” Live on The Late Late Show

Before we get on to the topic at hand, we would like to re-iterate something that slipped out of James Corden’s mouth during this conversation with Sophie Turner. Before getting Sophie to rap an Eminem verse, James Corden said the below.

“…somebody you are obessed with, I too share an obsession with, that we have as of this moment yet not been able to get to do a Carpool Karaoke with, but we hope one day will come, and that’s Eminem.”

Just days ago, James Corden got the legendary Sir Paul McCartney to join with him on Carpool Karaoke and took the fans through an emotional ride. If they are looking to up the viewership of this segment, Eminem would be a major candidate, and we look forward to such day.

Back to the topic at hand…

With this introduction by James Corden, we realize that Sophie Turner AKA Game of Throne’s Sansa Stark is a huge fan of Eminem. She confirms that she is, in fact, a huge fan of M&M’s and Eminem alike.

James Corden then goes on to ask if she knows the lyrics to Em’s songs, and her reply is “I spit pure fire.” Then she proceeds to prove that she actually does by rapping a good lot of lyrics from her favorite Eminem song “The Real Slim Shady.” James Corden, too, joins in and out helping her.

“The Real Slim Shady” appears in Eminem’s 2000 album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP,’ which is considered one of the best works of Eminem to date.

Watch Sophie Turner Rap to Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” Live

Sophie Turner stops right before the below lyric saying it’s too awkward to rap on live TV.

“And that’s the message that we deliver to little kids
And expect them not to know what a women’s cl*toris is.”

Back in 2017, there was another footage of Sophie Turner rapping to “The Real Slim Shady” at what seemed like a karaoke bar. Watch that video below.

We think she did an amazing job for a live act and also trying rap up to Em’s standard. Her British accent was an added bonus to this random cover.

Let us know what you think about this performance. She really seems to be a massive fan of Eminem.
