This song is a dedication to his late mother Johanna Deakin, who lost a battle against Leukaemia in December 2016. She was merely 43 years old. The song is an amazing dedication to his mother. He sings that he will live one life for the two of them in memory of her. Louis promises that he will be the best of him and reminisce her day and night as she was the backbone of his life.

The singer also shares some life advice given by his mother; “Don’t give up/You can do it day by day.” He then uses a metaphor, a diamond to resemble his mother to say that she will never fade away from his memory.
