2 Chainz Drops “Money In The Way” Music Video: Sick!!!

2 Chainz continues to promote his 2019 album ‘Rap Or Go To The League‘ with a brand new music video for “Money In The Way.”

In the new music video, 2 Chainz takes us through a trip to the past where he shows some significant moments from the past. Directed by Vincent Lou, the video shows a robbery in 1965 and some posters from a Civil Rights Movement. Another scene from 1975 shows a pimp earning cash through one of his prostitutes from an elderly gentleman, seemingly someone of power and influence.

2 Chainz dresses up in a bejewelled and sparkly jacket with a lot of bling and wad of cash. A scene from 1985 shows a trio of youngsters break-dancing to the music from a radio! Good times! Another scene from 1995, shows a brawl between several African Americans ending in a fatal gunshot wound to one. The video starts off with the present day, so that is 50 years of a journey back in time inside one building.

As per Uproxx, 2 Chainz said that this song is about “about black excellence, ‘each one teach one’, and it’s about getting the African American community to know they can do something.”
