Verse 1
“Your silent sadness, it shakes me,” says BTS opening about the status of the relationship. Further, they talk about how distasteful this relationship has grown to be for the girl. For some reason, this feeling is not mutual. The guy is still on it 100%.

With this knowledge of impending doom, the singer breaks ‘louder than bombs’ in his heart. He realizes the expressions on her face and they don’t tell a ‘happily ever after’ story.

Verse 2
The second verse if performed by RM of BTS. He confesses that he is nothing without her. But she tries to convince her otherwise saying he is more than something. She is scared for him: “Don’t you give up your life.” But he is not convinced and keeps praying for better days.

j-Hope says that he is filled with darkness now that the girl of his dream is fading from his life. But he has not given up hope. He tells us that darkness surrounds us everywhere and not to be afraid of it. Even if the darkness swallows him, he will not give up on love.
Verse 4
Suga of BTS says that people are jealous of their relationship. And they say that he is suffering for nothing. But he knows the pain he endures.
