Lana Del Rey Announces ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’ Album (Release Date, Tracklist, Cover, Review)

Lana Del Rey is ready to release her long-awaited album ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club.’ The album underwent delays and some name changes over the course of its production, and finally is seeing daylight, tomorrow!

Lana Del Rey announced the release of her seventh studio album, titled ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’ on January 10, 2021. This is Lana’s follow-up album to 2019’s ‘Norman F*cking Rockwell.’ Much like how ‘Norman’ album was inspired by her life in Los Angeles, ‘Chemtrails’ album has been inspired by the Midwest.

In an interview with Interview Magazine, Lana Del Rey talked about the inspiration and sound of ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’ album; “It’s funny, the record was Midwestern-sounding before I even went to the Midwest. What’s interesting about having a true muse—and it sounds kind of ridiculous—is that you’re at the whim of it. When I’m singing about Arkansas, even I’m wondering why. The one way I would describe the Midwest, Oklahoma in particular, is that it’s not cooked or oversaturated, and there’s still space to catch that white lightning.”

In October 2020, the first promotional single off the album, “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” was released. The lead single and the title track of the album is to be released on January 11, 2021.
