Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” Was Watched 43.2 Million Times in 24 Hours

Taylor Swift changed genres in ‘1989’ album and she emerged with 2 billion+ viewed music videos on YouTube. Now Taylor Swift had a complete makeover in ‘Reputation’ and she is still winning. The first single off of the 2017 album is “Look What You Made Me Do” and Taylor Swift is nothing like we have seen her before. She is lean and mean and out to get revenge. We thought this new persona just might not be everyone’s pill, but she is still slaying the charts.

“Look What You Made Me Do” video released about 24 hours ago has broken the record for the most viewed video on YouTube within first 24 hours of release. Former record holder was Adele with “Hello,” but the record has been refreshed with a huge margin by Taylor.

“Hello” music video recorded 27.7 million views in 24 hours and “Look What You Made Me Do” has recorded 43.2 million views in the same time. That is a staggering 19 million more views on LWYMMD video.

To put this number into perspective, on an average that is 1.8 million views per hour and 30,000 views every minute and 500 views every second. The whole world should have helped her break this record.

So, congratulations Taylor Swift and to all the Swifties out there.
