As promised, the “Taki Taki” music video dropped today, and it is not everything we expected it to be. The trailer, released yesterday, gave a sneak peek into what’s to come and the hype was built to a whole new level. After all, it is Cardi B, Selena Gomez, Ozuna and DJ Snake-four of the biggest artists in the world.
The music video released today had a bigger focus on making the video a hot mess orgy. From the start, the video had gorgeous models, barely clad, in a pit of grinding and feeling each other. For the most part, sexualizing the video was the theme of the production. Only for one instance, for the verse of Selena Gomez, the music video setting changed and we got to witness some gorgeous dance moves by Selena.
Both Cardi B and Selena Gomez looked red hot gorgeous and Cardi B settled for a very revealing low cut dress.
The music video is directed by Colin Tilley, who is also credited for directing music videos such as “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj, “M.I.L.F.$” by Fergie, and “Wild Thoughts” by DJ Khaled and Rihanna. All these music videos have a very common explicit theme.

The setting for “Taki Taki” music video looked like a lava-flooded, post-apocalyptic world for some reason. There is fire and lava everywhere, even on the floor, the artists are performing the song on.
Cardi B’s performance looks to be a direct challenge to the ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj.
