Zayn just does not laze around when it comes to his music. The 25-year-old pop star has been releasing songs and covers nonstop. With the delay in his next studio album release, Zayn has already released many tracks from the album, such as “No Candle No Light” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Fingers” and “Too Much.” He has also covered “Bed Peace” by Jhene Aiko, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley and the latest cover is “Allah Duhai Hai” from Bollywood movie ‘Race 3.’
‘Race 3’ is a Bollywood movie released in 2018 and the last instalment of the ‘Race’ trilogy. The movie features Bollywood superstars such as Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and more.
Zayn has previously done covers of Hindi songs such as “Teri Deewani” and “Allah Ke Banday.”
Listen to Zayn Cover “Allah Duhai Hai”
This cover is a reproduction of the original from the movie soundtrack. This edition is assisted by additional synths and dubstep.
Zayn posted this cover on his social media and fans have lost their minds. Naturally, the Asian fans appealed more to the song cover.
“There’s definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have also worked with AR Rahman on one song.” – Zayn
The song title stands for “Allah is the God.” This has sparked so much controversy about Zayn’s religion. However, Zayn is a former Muslim. In an interview with Vogue magazine in November 2018, he expressed that he does not wish to be identified as a Muslim. Hence, this song is simply a cover of a song he liked. This should not be taken as him confessing his religious roots.
