“Flynn is stuck—depressed, recently dumped
,and living at his mom’s house. The supermarket was supposed to change all that. An ordinary job and a steady check. Work isn’t work when it’s saving you from yourself. But things aren’t quite as they seem in these aisles. Arriving to work one day to a crime scene, Flynn’s world collapses as the secrets of his tortured mind are revealed. And Flynn doesn’t want to go looking for answers at the supermarket. Because something there seems to be looking for him.”
What’s more interesting about this new development is that Logic has a brand new album to match the ‘Supermarket’ novel release.

The instant eye-catcher on this tracklist is the first song titled “Bohemian Trapsody,” a spin on one of the greatest Rock ballads ever “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. However, despite being an epic ballad, Logic fuses some Rock-ish trap music with lyrics of love on to his version, and it truly works.
On the contrary to popular belief, Logic also sings on top of rapping on this album. For an example, the track titled “Pretty Young Girl” is a ballad about a “special female friend” who has been there for him since his “basement days,” explains Logic during a Boston show in 2018.
More impressive is the final track on the album titled “I Love You Forever.” Logic sings again of his heartfel emotions about a love that he is not entitled for. And this song has just one verse for 4 minutes and 16 seconds of playtime.
On songs like “Lemon Drop,” Logic explains his life on drugs. How he was an alcoholic and how he never graduated. How he never won the love of his mother, and questions why this entire generation is so ‘uptight?’ He also says that despite his failures early in his life, now he is ahead of everybody and always on his prime level.
‘Supermarket’ Soundtrack album by Logic is something that needs to be enjoyed with an open and a relax mind. We will analyse the lyrics of these songs in future articles to come.
