Carly Rae Jepsen Sings Of All the Things She Does “Too Much” Of

Carly Rae Jepsen has released the fourth promotional single titled “Too Much” from her upcoming fourth studio album ‘Dedicated.’

The “Call Me Maybe” superstar released the lead single “Party For One” in November 2018 and has been in promotional mode since then. To this end, Carly Rae Jepsen released “Now That I Found You”, “No Drug Like Me” and “Julien” this year. Her latest release is the fourth promotional single titled “Too Much.”

“Too Much” is a dedication to the human condition. Carly Rae Jepsen shares that in some cases she delves a bit more than essential into the conditions that make us weak. This is not a condition unique to her–but common to all of us.

Carly Rae Jepsen questions herself if she is justified to act the way she truly feels in this relationship. She questions him if she is bad for him? Because she admits that she has a fire burning inside her, the calm of the deepest oceans and drama like a thunderstorm. She is just admitting her human conditions in this candid song.

In the chorus of the song, Carly iterates some things she goes overboard on–partying, feeling, thinking, drinking, dancing, and even loving. However, the simple truth of the fact is that ‘too much’ of anything is just too very much! Carly is questioning him is this a lot to handle, because she might be willing to compromise her ways, or maybe she wants to know now itself before they take it to the next level.

This song is too good to be passed on without a music video, so fingers crossed for that! The song is upbeat, despite being a constant war of questions in Carly’s mind.

The new album ‘Dedicated’ drops on May 17, 2019.
