Selena Gomez – Feel Me | Lyrics Meaning & Song Review

Selena Gomez released a ‘new song’ while on her ‘Rare’ album era. But the song is something created far back as 2016 where she debuted during her ‘Revival’ tour. Now the song “Feel Me” has officially been released, and we all feel you, Selena!

This song also appeared on the vinyl edition of the 2020 studio album ‘Rare’ by Selena Gomez. The album popped out on January 10, 2020, and had massive hits such as “Look At Her Now,” “Lose You to Love Me,” “Vulnerable” and more.

Releasing the track, Selena Gomez shared her thoughts on Instagram; “On the Revival Tour, I introduced a song that you guys haven’t stopped talking about since. Soo you asked and I listened 😘 Today, Feel Me is out online and vinyl everywhere 🖤”

In the lyrics of the song, Selena Gomez is heard talking to an ex-boyfriend. She hopes that every time he is with another girl, he thinks about her. This is not a healthy wish. But she confesses that she has not been able to let him go in her mind and that she still loves him.

When she thinks about him, her days get longer (time slows down), nights get colder (from loneliness), and heartbeat louder (from the rush of the memories). However, she does not say this directly. She asks the ex if he feels as such.

Since she is still in love with him, she does not mind him coming running back to her, when he realizes that his new girl cannot give the things she gave him.

It is very unclear if this song is about Justin Bieber, Selena’s ex-boyfriend. Justin Bieber broke up with Selena Gomez in 2019 and married model Hailey Baldwin a few months after. However, the song was written in or before 2016.
