“pov” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review

Verse 1

Ariana Grande praises her partner’s vision to be 20/20 i.e. perfect. This is because he is able to see through Ariana Grande for who she is, her flaws, and imperfections. But he still chooses to be with her and love her.

Chorus

One of the biggest compliments Ariana Grande gives to her partner is how much he trusts her more than she trusts herself. She learns to love herself from the way he loves her. It is a crazy feeling to have someone else trust and love you more than you do yourself. She would love to see how he sees her, from his point of view, to realize why and how!

Verse 2

Ariana Grande confesses that she is getting used to all the love she is getting from him. She is also holding his love for her over her love for herself. This is dangerous. But she is too intoxicated to realize this yet.
