“Off My Face” is the fourth track on Justin Bieber’s 2021 album ‘Justice.’ This is yet another love anthem by Bieber, confessing how he has fallen head-over-heels for his partner.
Justin Bieber released his sixth studio album ‘Justice’ on March 19, 2021. This is his follow-up project to the 2020 release ‘Changes.’ Announcing the new album, Justin Bieber said “This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal.”
Bieber makes some clever references of being drunk off booze to being fazed in love, the latter being much better depending on how it turns out in the long run!
Listen to “Off My Face” Justin Bieber
The title of the song, “Off My Face,” has the same idea as The Weeknd’s hit track “Can’t Feel My Face” from 2015. The difference is The Weeknd is actually singing about drugs while Bieber is singing about a similar experience with love.
A few of the many intoxicated references in the lyrics are “got me stoned,” “higher than I’ve ever,” “call the shots,” “speak in tongues,” “blurred vision,” “out my head,” and so on. However, all these references tie up to Bieber’s intoxication with his partner in life.
Love is addicting, and love is a drug, and love is blinding. But if you are with the right person, these are all good things. And vice versa of this is a nightmare come true. In the song lyrics, Justin Bieber sings how he is completely crippled by her love for the better.
After a shaky and back-and-forth series of relationships, Justin Bieber does seem to have slowed down and found his perfect match–Hailey Bieber.
