‘FourFiveSeconds‘ was the first audio and video we got to see from Rihanna’s upcoming studio album ‘R8’. It featured Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney. The original track is acoustic, giving prominence to vocals of Rihanna and Kanye West. The original is quite vanilla and chill. However, DJ Mustard has turned it around. Now it’s almost a club dance track.

What do you think? It sounds almost brand new. We really love DJ Mustard managed to preserve the essence of ‘FourFiveSeconds’, while completely flipping it around.
We also got a feeling that the new beat was quite inspired by Ariana Grande’s “Problem”, especially where DJ Mustard’s FourFiveSeconds remix sets in to a loop of a low key “four five seconds”. I don’t know, it kind of reminded me of the track I mentioned above.
