Taylor Swift Sends Cardi B Flowers After “Bodak Yellow” Beats “LWYMMD”

Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” hit #01 spot on Billboard Hot 100 this week to the surprise of many, as Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” was looking very promising on the top spot. However, massive amounts of endless streams and airplay time flew “Bodak Yellow” to the top spot, putting “LWYMMD” down to #03. Post Malone’s new single “rockstar” debuted at #02 on the chart this week.

Taylor Swift’s record breaking single “Look What You Made Do” showed a very promising start climbing from #77 to #01 on Billboard Hot 100 chart within a week of debuting on the chart. But, the single could only hold the throne for 3 weeks, when it started slowing on downloads, streams and airplay. “Bodak Yellow” continued to grow in popularity in the same time.

After dethroning Taylor Swift, Cardi B celebrated in style at Atlantic Records and threw some shade at Taylor. Cardi B sang “look what you made me do” after a little victory celebration speech. Was it shade or not, we would never know. But there does not seem to be any bad blood between Taylor Swift and Cardi B after today’s events.

“Sooo beautiful and lovely. Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers,” Cardi B captioned a short boomerang video of her with a bouquet of pink flowers and she added “I freaking love your music.”

Taylor Swift ensured that there is no more feuds in the music industry. She already has her plate full it seems.
