Taylor Swift’s new album ‘Reputation’ is released and selling like hot cakes on the market. The official first day sales figures have been over 700,000 copies sold, which could be a new record even for Taylor Swift. Although the album is mostly synth-pop, there is one song that stands out-“New Year’s Day.”
“New Year’s Day” is the only ballad in the album played on a piano with help of a guitar. So this song gives us vibes of the Old Taylor from ‘Fearless’ days.
None of the songs from the album are available for streaming yet (except for the singles), so this live performance of “New Year’s Day” is the only stream-able mode of the song available for now.
We have done a lyrics review and song meaning analysis of “New Year’s Day” and if you are interested you can read it here.
