Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa have joined forces together to come up with a brilliant hit for the dance-clun genre. The new single “One Kiss” has already dethroned Drake’s “Nice For What” and claimed #1 spot in UK charts. This was due to over 7 million streams and 22,000 downloads over the last week. However, the single still stands at #62 on Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it started at the release.
“One Kiss” is Calvin Harris’s second single in 2018, after “Nuh Ready Nuh Ready.” The lyrics to the song has been written by Jessie Reyez, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris himself.
This song is not complicated-the lyrics are straightforward and simple, but very catchy. The lyric video released along with the single, shows adorable, but very poor quality footage of couples in love and making out.

Dua Lipa’s strong voice and Calvin Harris’s unique music skill set makes this an amazing club song.
The entire song is about how it only takes a simple kiss to make someone fall in love with each other. Dua Lipa believes she has the magic touch when it comes to kissing. With falling in love, comes the possibilities which are endless.
The other two verses go on to explain how she would make love to her man. Romantic walks in the moonlight, skin on skin, dancing to music on blast and gazing into other another’s eyes. It all sounds quite gooey romantic, but not entirely incorrect.
