Eminem Teases “Venom” Music Video Due on Friday (Review)

Eminem released a near 40-second clip a few hours ago from the upcoming music video for “Venom” done for the movie ‘Venom.’ The teaser clip does not feature Eminem, however, may be drawing some subtle hints towards Em’s last music video “Fall” from the new ‘Kamikaze‘ album.

Eminem’s ‘Kamikaze’ album was a surprise release and the overall theme of the album was nothing short of shocking too. He aimed at calling out all the hate he received on his 2017 project ‘Revival.’ On top of that, he accused a few industry names responsible for the poor state of rap and hip-hop today. The “Fall” music video shows Eminem running away from the monsters created by all the hate received on the ‘Revival’ album.

In the last scene of “Fall” music video, we see Eminem dropping down a ‘Revival’ album CD and stepping on it, crushing it. In the new “Venom” music video, we see a stranger picking up a crushed CD album. Coincidence?

The damaged CD cover does not show the album cover or a name. Hence, we are left to believe two things: it’s either ‘Revival’ album or it is the ‘Kamikaze’ album.

One reason leading us to believe that it could be the ‘Kamikaze’ album is from the caption Eminem left with the release of the trailer snippet. “They ain’t gonna know what hit ’em…” This is kind of the entire theme of the ‘Kamikaze’ era, starting from the drop of the album and to the release of MGK diss track “KILLSHOT.”

So, we might have to wait till this Friday (05th Oct) to see what the whole deal is. Until such time, happy guessing.

Let us know what you think about this “Venom” teaser trailer and what do you think that CD is?
