Post Malone Teases New Song “Sunflower” from ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ OST

Post Malone was the guest star on last night’s Jimmy Fallon live and he went on to speak about his humble beginnings to becoming one of the major acts equalling Michael Jackson’s record.

Post wore his signature vibrant and dynamic coat to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and went on to speak about his guitar skills. He learnt to play the guitar with Guitar Hero 2 and then took things to the next level with a guitar given to him as a birthday present by his mom.

Post Malone jokingly says that his industry name was generated via a ‘random rap name generator.’ Post also talks about that surreal night where his first ever song “White Iverson” blew up on the Internet overnight. Stars such as Whiz Khalifa and Mac Miller had reached out to Post the next day to get in touch with him. Malone says everything that has happened afterwards is still so surreal to him.

Jimmy Fallon also announced that Post Malone has equalled a Billboard record held by Michael Jackson with “Thriller” for an artist with most weeks on #1 spot. Post Malone had major success on Billboard Hot 100 with “Rockstar” and “Psycho” in recent times.

Then Jimmy Fallon goes on to release a snippet of the upcoming Post track “Sunflower” from the animated movie ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ soundtrack.

“But it’s out of my control
You’ll be left in the dust
I’m so fired up
You’re a sunflower
I think your love would be too much”

The 10-second teaser takes the shape of a slowed-down beat with Post doing vocals with a smooth suave.
