‘Changes‘ is Justin Bieber’s fifth studio album released on February 14, 2020. This album is full of love as is a reflection of his married life to model Hailey Baldwin. The album had three singles, “Yummy” released in December 2019, “Get Me” released in January 2020, and “Intentions” released in February 2020. In the trailer for the upcoming documentary about his life, Justin Bieber spoke about the upcoming album; “I feel like this album is different from the previous ones just because of where I am at in my life.”
Verse 1
In the first verse of the song, we realize that Justin Bieber is all alone by himself. He is waiting for his crush to come around and he needs an ETA.
He lingers around impatiently in his room, maybe until she responds. He tries to drown all the screaming voices in his head by blasting off the music.
However, this also could refer to a situation where Justin Bieber impatiently waits for his wife to get home from wherever she went. Even a habitual separation, like going to work, feels like too much time away for the singer.

Justin Bieber is eager to know when she will arrive back at home. He could be missing her or worried about her safety when she is out there on her own. “Distance” between two people usually makes them grow apart. But in this case, Bieber says that it only made them grow more fond of each other.

Justin Bieber worries about her even for a second when she says she lost the signal on her phone. He always wants to be by her side.
Outro
The deeper we go into the lyrics of this track, the more cringe it gets. Bieber asks his wife to drop her location so that he knows where she is exactly. He is not messing around with “I’ll be home in 5 minutes” mumbo jumbo!
