First of all let me apologize for the huge delay in reporting this enthralling news as a die-hard Eminem fan. Taylor Swift has been pretty much conquering the music world and I was so busy with covering all the things she has been doing. Anyway, the better news is that Eminem is once again nominated for Grammy Awards. Eminem has received three nominations this year and we couldn’t have been more prouder!
But Eminem? He doesn’t give a sh*t about Grammys. Every other artist who got nominated for a Grammy Award pretty much freaked out through every social media possible. And Eminem is yet to even send a Tweet about it. He is absolutely silent–just like a true master at work. Marshall Bruce Mathers III is no stranger to the coveted Grammy Awards. So another three nominations isn’t a big deal for him.
Eminem has been nominated for Grammy Awards a staggering 43 times including the latest 3. So it’s just another award for his total 331 awards as of now.
Grammy Awards 2015 Nominations for Eminem
Eminem has been nominated for Grammy Awards 2015 in the following three categories.
- Best Rap Album – Marshall Mathers LP 2
- Best Rap Performance – Rap God
- Best Rap Collaboration – The Monster (featuring Rihanna)
Rihanna tweeted about this nomination and still Eminem is silent. LOL
“Marshall Mathers LP 2” is undoubtedly one of the most successful albums of Eminem to come out yet. Recently the album went 8x Platinum in UK alone. The album topped many Hip Hop and Rap charts for so many weeks. MMLP2 won “Top Rap Album” at Billboard Music Awards 2014.

“Rap God” was a single released in 2014 and it made the cut although “Shady XV” will not be eligible for Grammy Awards 2015. But it will be up and running for next year’s Grammy Awards.
Eminem and Iggy Azalea Feud at Grammy 2015?
There was a lot of buzz about one sentence in one song of “Shady XV” about Eminem wanting to rape Iggy Azalea. She took is to Twitter to get back at Eminem. And as usual Eminem is silent to all the critiques. The mass media took the issue to a whole new level, but we know that it was a mere lyric in the song that probably rhymed better than any other name. Still, people think a cold war is brewing between these two artists.
Eminem and Iggy Azalea will be competing in the same category for “Best Rap Album” in The Grammy Awards 2015. Eminem’s “MMLP2” VS Iggy Azalea’s “The New Classic”. Now, I haven’t heard Iggy’s album, but there is no way it is better than Em’s. So I’m pretty confident Em will steal this category!
So, February 9, 2014 will decide if Marshall Mathers is still the Grammy Winning machine he is. Whether he wins or not he will still be the most successful Hip Hop artists the world has ever seen. Hail the Rap God!
