A few weeks ago the music community got to know about a new Justin Bieber x DJ Snake collaboration in the making and Biliebers went crazy. The track was named “Let Me Love You” and vocalized by Justin Bieber while the music is produced by DJ Snake. The track is number 13 on DJ Snake’s upcoming album ‘Encore’, due on August 05th.

The lyrics to the song goes something like this;
Heaven’s a heartbreak away
(Never let you go, never let me down…)
Oh it’s been a hell of a ride
Driving the edge of a knife
(Never let you go, never let me down…)
The song lyrics don’t need much interpretation as the meaning is quite on the surface of it. But these lines convey the uncertainty of life and how the singer believes he should spend every second of his life with her-even through tough and tougher times.
Don’t you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won’t give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Don’t you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won’t give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Oh baby, baby…
Gotta admit, Justin Bieber has improved a lot from his “Baby” days. And he does a pretty good job on the chorus (and all around) “Let Me Love You”.
Don’t fall asleep
At the wheel, we’ve got a million miles ahead of us
Miles ahead of us
All we need
Is a rude awakening to know we’re good enough
Know we’re good enough-Lyrics Credit: DirectLyrics.com
These lyrics means that the singer does not want to let go of the path they are heading. He loves it and wants to continue. They have come a long way, but they still have to go more. But when things get stale, they need a wake up call to know that they are still good. This wake up call could be a tough decision of their lives. But only through tough times do stronger couples and bonds are made.
It may sound like a cheesy love song, but it’s quite OK considering it’s entertainment value.
DJ Snake does not disappoint us in “Let Me Love You” and we hope he will continue this streak in ‘Encore’.
“Let Me Love You” has a little rub-off from “Lean On” produced by Major Lazer and DJ Snake, but we are all okay with it.
