As Ed Sheeran turned 26 yesterday (17th Feb), the Sheerios got the best birthday present from him. He very generously released a new track from his upcoming album ‘Divide.’ Releasing this track Ed Sheeran called it one of his favorites and we are hooked too. “How Would You Feel” is a ballad of sort and more of a Paean which means a song of an emotional tribute.
This song is a tribute to a girl. There is no specific one the singer mentions in the song so you can freely use it on your beloved.

Lyrics to the song are simple and straightforward. This is something new with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ album songs we have seen so far. Ed Sheeran has reduced on the lyrical creativity and embraced a more emotional aspect on this album.

Not very direct, but the singer basically professes his love for her. And he backs up his case very well too. The tough question he has on his mind is if she feels the same way about him!

The acoustic guitar and the keyboard mix well with Ed Sheeran’s soothing voice on this song and we are glad that Ed decided to release this before the album release.
