Ariana Grande Performs “Imagine” Live in a Christmas Sweater on Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is usually packed with a lot of variety of segments. One of our favourites would be the live performances by different artists on different days. A month back Lil Wayne was brought on stage to perform “Delicate” from his latest album ‘Tha Carter V.’ Just last week, Miley Cyrus got on the show to play ‘Name That Song‘ challenge with Jimmy Fallon. In the last enrollment of the show, Ariana Grande went on stage to perform her latest single “Imagine” and it was ecstatic.

Ariana Grande premiered her newest single “Imagine” not longer than a week back and this track would be the second single off of her upcoming studio album ‘Thank u, next.’ Ariana premiered her breakup anthem “thank u, next” in November 2018, inspired by her string of unfortunate relationship mishaps in 2018.

Ariana Grande dressed in a Christmas sweater that covered her almost up to her knees as she performed the hit single. She wore knee-high black boots and delivered a stunning live performance. If you aren’t shocked at 2.50 minute mark, we don’t know what would make you!

“Imagine” talks about Ariana Grande’s version of a perfect relationship: cuddling up in bed till late night, snacks on bed, laying her face on the warmth of his chest, slow kisses and fall asleep till the noon.

This song is said to be written about Ari’s late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. The two artists dated for almost two years until they abruptly ended the relationship early 2018. Ariana Grande moved on to a sudden relationship with Pete Davidson and Mac Miller overdosed on drugs. In songs like “thank u, next,” we do hear Ariana’s lament over the one boyfriend who loved and cared for her the most.
