♬ What if I told you that I love you Ali Gatie – aligatie
There are over 600,000 TikTok videos with the use of this song and the official snippets on YouTube have gathered over 2 million views each.
In the song, Ali Gatie is heard asking a few questions from his past lover. Obviously the past relationship has ended on a bad note and Ali has some residual feelings for her. He tries to finish off this past chapter by clearing out the air with the girl, but we doubt he will get any answers.

Intro
Ali Gatie raises two serious questions right off the start. He questions/wonders if she would tell him that she loves him if he asks the same question. Similarly, he tries to confront her with an “I miss you” as well.
In the TikTok videos revealing text conversations with lovers and crushes, we can see some hilarious responses to these seemingly odd and direct questions.
Pre-chorus
The singer has another question or rather confession for her. What if he says that he needs her in his life? What kind of response would he get? If he confesses his feelings for her now, would she accept them as the truth? Ali Gatie must be regretting whatever part he did that lead to the relationship to fall apart.
It is hard to believe that the singer would actually raise these questions for his ex-girlfriend. He might keep these thoughts all to himself because the answers might be worse than the doubt.
Verse 1
In the first verse of the song, we hear the singer in a lot of confusion about the past and the present as well. He was not sure about her love when they were together, which could have very well lead to the breakup. He is still unsure about her feelings for him, which makes him raise all these questions.
Ali Gatie has some serious questions doubting the genuineness of her love back when they were together. He might have blown his chance to ask these questions now. He might have lost something valuable and irreplaceable. Now he laments in his head. He is on the fence if he should go after her or let her be. The singer does not want to make the wrong move and lose her forever. But taking no action at all is pretty similar to giving up altogether as well.
Verse 2
The big revelation is given in the second verse of “What If I Told You That I Love You?” by Ali. He reveals that she has a new guy in her life now. So there is little to no point in wasting her time thinking about all these questions that he should have cleared some time back. Now the only thing he can do is wish a happy life to the new couple.
