In the lyrics of this song, Dua Lipa is heard talking to her new boyfriend. She is over the moon about this new found love and she wants to look ‘chill’ about it. But she is failing at this miserably. One touch by him makes her caving and crawling for more. And all her ‘chill’ goes out the window.
The song also contains a very sexual undertone as Dua Lipa invites this new boyfriend to clear her tension by putting her underneath his body. She even mocks him, “I swear I ain’t gonna break…,” to go rougher during this play.
Dua Lipa sugarcoats her boyfriend purring “pretty please” to give it to her every day because she needs attention and love.
