Coming out of the rap war with Kendrick Lamar, Drake released three new tracks in the most unusual way. On August 6, 2024, the Toronto rapper revealed a link to a website ‘100gigs.org‘ which contained three new playable audio tracks and many more folders containing pictures and videos of and relating to Drake from the past. The first surprise track is titled “It’s Up.”
All three tracks were later released on streaming platforms under the album title ‘100 Gigs.’ The three song titles are “It’s Up,” “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows” chronologically.
In the song, the three artists flex about their riches and sexual conquests while Drake dedicates the opening of the song to his loyal friends.

The intro to the song is Drake paying homage to his loyalists. He thanks his close friends and acknowledges the fact his success has directly impacted that of his friends as well. They are all eating well. In a rather tumultuous time for Muslims, Drake confesses that his right-hand guy is also a Muslim and he has no divisions in his camp.

True friendship is a two-way street. Drake rarely takes Ls but the general consensus of the beef with Kendrick Lamar was that Kendrick won the rap battle. So, Drake might have had the help of his friends to bounce back.
In the post-chorus lyrics, Drake flaunts his luxurious lifestyle. He is one to casually shop at Mercedes-Benz. Black exterior paint and red interior design in his new car. He calls it ‘blood money’ which usually means money earned through illegal means. However, in the song, Drake could be alluding to money earned through killing his rivals in the music game.
In the first verse of the song, Drake talks about his widespread reputation around the world. He and his team get no pat downs when entering a club. His reputation is undeniable. Drake also says that he is quite used to all the politics in this music game, while mentioning the arrest of his fellow collaborator Young Thug. At the time of this song, Young Thug is still held at Cobb County Corrections facility.
In the second verse, 21 Savage joins Drake to carry on the torch. His verse is dedicated to defending himself and Drake from the opps. He also crosses the other rappers who haven’t shown loyalty to his camp calling them weak snitches.
The hook of the song is from Young Thug’s unreleased song “Don’t Care About My Opps” which the rapper previewed in 2022.
