Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are back from their musical hiatuses to serenade us with a love song aptly titled “Die With a Smile.” The song explores a love so strong that if the world was ending today, they could go away with a smile knowing they are with the ones they love the most.
Both Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have not been active in the music scene in the past couple of years. Hence, when the announcement was made about the collaboration a day prior to the release of the song, it took both fandoms by storm. On August 16, 2024, the song was released along with a music video.
The music video shows both artists in a studio, wearing matching outfits and performing the song. Bruno plays the guitar and Gaga is on the keyboard, smoking a cigarette. The whole setting is a flashback to the 80s.
