Playboi Carti – ALL RED | Lyrics Meaning Revealed

Playboi Carti makes his grand solo comeback since 2020 album ‘Whole Lotta Red,’ with a brand new single “ALL RED.” One thing noticeable about the song is Carti’s deep vocal signature which we saw in his early days.

“ALL RED” is the first taste of Playboi Carti’s upcoming third studio album ‘I AM MUSIC.’ The album comes almost four years after his previous solo project ‘Whole Lotta Red’ released in December 2020. Carti mentioned that his new album aims to make everyone “feel free” as he does with his music.

In this track, Playboi Carti goes off on his haters and doubters demanding them to be ‘shut up.’ He also rejects all the ‘that hottie over there’ nature women as they have nothing to add to his life.

Playboi Carti “ALL RED” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review

The hook of the song addresses Playboi Carti’s satanic affiliations.

Upside-down cross tat’ on my neck, shut ’em up, uh, uh

Carti is famous for using an upside-down cross in his concerts and also has it tattooed on both sides of his shoulders. An upside-down cross is a symbol of all things evil and is often used to reference Satan or the devil. So, naturally, Carti also has received some backlash over this association. Ignoring all these comments, in 2022, Carti got the word ‘Satan’ tattooed on the back of his neck. In the lyrics, Carti admits to his tattoo and calls for haters to shut up about it.

Playboi Carti also seemingly admits to his affiliations with the gang named ‘The Fives.’ This is a culmination of several gangs that are affiliated with the ‘Bloods.’ And with this, Carti sets the premise to the title of the track – ALL RED – blood and gore when he pulls up on his opposition.

In the only verse of the song, Playboi Carti talks about his journey from rags to riches. He also vows not to wife a THOT ever and only to use them as intended. He also goes into a rant about his street violence as he has the ability to pull up on his opps and spray them down with guns.

Towards the end of the verse, Carti says that he is on a whole different level and he has no equals in the music business. Do you agree?
