“Stola Ya Flow” is the 4th track on A$AP Rocky’s 2026 studio album ‘Don’t Be Dumb.’ The song seemingly takes shots at past collaborator Drake. Rocky is heard talking about his friends and foes on the track, and also talks about friends who turned foes later on.
‘Don’t Be Stupid’ is A$AP Rocky’s fourth studio album, eight years after his previous full project ‘TESTING’ in 2018. The album contains seventeen tracks and features collaborations with Doechii, will.i.am, Tyler The Creator, and Brent Faiyaz, among others.
In an interview with The New York Times, Rocky said this about the song: “I started just seeing people who just started out as friends and just became foes, seemed like they was unhappy for you and started sending shots. […] It’s for whoever feels like it’s about.”
The title of the song, “Stole Ya Flow,” seems to hint that Rocky saw, came, and conquered the hip-hop elite status right underneath Drake.

A$AP Rocky “STOLE YA FLOW” Song Lyrics Meaning
In the intro of the song, A$AP Rocky seems to assume that he is one artist who owns the ‘show’ or the industry, while some of his competition are mere players or participants in passing.
You just a sensitive n**ga, still in his feelings
From the jump, Rocky seems to be taking shots at the main antagonist of the song – Drake. Rocky insinuates that Drake is still lamenting over the past and ‘still in his feelings’ or being salty about other artists’ success in the industry. Notably, Drake has a diamond-certified hit titled “In My Feelings” from 2018.
A$AP Rocky also seems to think that Drake ‘bit’ into his unique style – possibly referring to Drake’s switch up in style during the ‘Certified Lover Boy’ era. Copying someone else’s style and not being friends with them is quite the humiliation ritual in the entertainment industry.
In the chorus of the song, A$AP does not hold back.
First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b**ch
Rocky continues to push the idea that Drake stole his style in music, and in return, Rocky says he stole his girl. This is quite factual as Rocky’s now partner Rihanna used to be on-and-off flame of Drake before 2016. Rihanna and Drake’s chemistry was undeniable back in the day, with Drake often expressing his admiration for Rihanna publicly. However, ultimately, A$AP Rocky is the one who ended up with Rihanna and has three children together.
The first verse of the song is dedicated to flexing A$AP Rocky’s massive wealth, which he has amassed in the industry. He also throws shame at other artists who oppose him and then turn around and copy his style. Rocky also expresses his love of everything black – from fashion to cars to skin color.
In the second chorus of the song, A$AP switches up the last two lines. He hopes that Drake takes offense with this song. Rocky does not want any amends with his foes, and he confesses that he won’t let his opps be.
In the second verse of the song, Rocky admits that Drake was once his brother in the industry. They collaborated on the 2012 song “Fkin’ Problems” and even toured together on the ‘Club Paradise Tour.’ But things went downhill fast. Rocky says that Drake was the one who turned sides and showed his true colors with Rocky’s come-up.
The third verse of “STOLE YA FLOW,” spits more venom even towards Drake’s friends. Tyler, The Creator gets a shoutout from A$AP Rocky as a long-time collaborator and a friend in the industry. Tyler is also featured on the “FISH N STEAK (WHAT IT IS)” song on the same album.
Rocky says that he is looking from a distance at how his opponents are clutching at straws of fame in their careers. He compares this to the father of the atomic bomb, Robert J. Oppenheimer, where ‘bombing’ is colloquially used to mean failure.
In the last part of the verse, he shouts out to his baby mama, Rihanna. Together, they are a true music powerhouse. He also looks back to the time when the music was more genuine and so were the people in the industry. Now, everything is about securing the bag. ‘Dutty wine’ is a highly energetic dance move that originated in Jamaica and became a global phenomenon. Somehow, those times seemed to be only about music and how it made everyone feel. Now, artists have to worry about getting clapped back if they release a global hit.
