BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge has been getting down some pretty impressive acts since lately and Sam Smith is the latest addition to the list. The Killers, Harry Styles, Jay-Z, Lorde and more have delivered their best songs live at this setup and we are in love. Sam Smith joined by some backup vocalists and a melodic band performed “Too Good at Goodbyes” and George Michael’s “Father Figure” songs.
“Too Good at Goodbyes” has been one of Sam’s most emotional works and he himself said that it breaks him down everytime he performs this song. Even during the live performance at BBC Live Lounge, it seemed as though he was tearing up at one moment. But he managed to control it looking at the audience and engaging the fans in a sing-along.

But every time you hurt me, the less that I cry
And every time you leave me, the quicker these tears dry
And every time you walk out, the less I love you
Baby, we don’t stand a chance, it’s sad but it’s true
Sam Smith also covered George Michael’s hit single “Father Figure” in style and impressed all of us. Watch the performance below.
