Taylor Swift Pays Tributes to Manchester Attack Victims and Adds “Bad Blood” to Setlist in ‘Reputation Tour’ UK

Taylor Swift’s biggest concert ever-the ‘Reputation Tour’ has moved to the United Kingdom officially with the first Manchester show unfolding last night. Before moving to UK, the tour took stops in Chicago, Arizona, California, Washington and Colorado in the US. Tonight, the second show at Manchester will go live at the same Etihad Stadium.

Taylor Swift performed to a packed crowd at the Etihad Stadium last night and it was full of activity. This is Taylor’s first stadium show in Manchester after the leg during ‘1989’ era. So Manchester has been waiting for three years for this, and to pay gratitude for this loyalness there are two concerts at Manchester.

Taylor Swift Talks About “Incredible Resilience” of Manchester People

Taylor Swift drew up a rather bitter memory from 2017 as she paid tribute to the victims and survivors of the suicide bombing attack during an Ariana Grande concert, that took 23 lives.

Taylor Swift broke into just a melody while performing “Dancing With Our Hands Tied” to say the following;

“You’ve shown that you’re never gonna let anyone forget about those victims. And you’ve shown that you have such incredible resilience to keep dancing and to keep the innocence and to keep the joy and to keep the excitement… And I just want to say that it’s such an honor to play for you tonight,” said Taylor Swift and continued with the song.

Taylor Swift Adds “Bad Blood” to ‘Reputation Tour’ Setlist

Taylor Swift continued to perform hits from her ‘Reputation’ album as well as some hits from her previous eras. But one highlight of the night was when she revived the famed “Bad Blood” song, which is reputed as an iconic track representing the feud between Taylor and Katy Perry.

Quite appropriately so, Taylor performed the song inside of a ribcage of a snake which floated above the fans all over the stadium. The snake has been the theme of all these stage designs of the ‘Reputation Tour.’

Taylor Swift kicked off the show with a performance of “…Ready For It” which really pumped up the crowd.

Taylor Swift is creating some amazing mashups by mixing her own tracks. The “Style/Love Story” medley that she performed at Manchester last night was absolute bliss.

Camila Cabello and Charli XCX Joins ‘Reputation Tour’ UK Shows

Camila and Charli XCX have been joining Taylor Swift on almost the entire tour, and they have continued across the waters too. Camila performed her hit single “Never Be The Same” and Charli XCX performed her hit single “Break The Rules.” Watch them below.

Both of these performances acted as the opening acts of the night.

The last song Taylor resurrected in the US was her massive hit “IKYWT” from ‘Red’ era. She continued to perform in Manchester as well.

We do not know if this ever signifies anything, but all of her ‘Reputation Tour’ shows have been ending with a medley of “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Both of these songs are reputed to be about her feuds with Katy Perry and Kanye West. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift made peace with each other right at the start of the ‘Reputation Tour’ so it might have been too late to change the already planned and rehearsed finales to these concerts. Hence, this medley continues to be performed live.

Another amazing show of the ‘Reputation Tour’ has ended, but Manchester will get a second round.

After the second show at Manchester, the ‘Reputation Tour’ will move to Dublin, Ireland for back-to-back two shows and again return to Wembley Stadium, UK for two more shows.

What did you think about the last night’s show in Manchester? Did you enjoy the live acts and the new addition to the setlist? Or were you at all fortunate to be at one of these concerts? Let us know in the comments below.
