Despite the hectic schedule of keeping the ‘Reputation Tour’ moving, Taylor Swift has had time to take part in the brand new music video for “Babe” by Sugarland. The trailer for the video, released today, shows Taylor Swift back in her orange hair and posing some fierce poses.
The interesting part about the song “Babe” is that Taylor Swift wrote the song with Pat Monahan of Train, another amazing lyricist. Hence, the final output of lyrics turned out to be amazing. The song had been written back in 2012 during ‘Red’ era, but never made it to an album. According to Sugarland, Taylor Swift had personally reached out to them and handed over the song. And it made into Sugarland’s upcoming 2018 album ‘Bigger,’ expected to be released in June.
Pat Mohanan had following to say about working with Taylor;
“It’s a song called Babe, so it’s her song; I was just lucky enough to be a part of it with her, and I’m gonna ask the same of her in the future. She’s very talented, she’s a no-nonsense young kid. Y’know, she’s, like, a serious thing.”
After a couple of months since the release of the audio “Babe” featuring vocals on the chorus by Taylor Swift, its own music video is set to be released. The video is scheduled to release on June 9th.

We are not quite clear on the storyline of the upcoming music video, but it seems to be a love triangle and Taylor Swift is the gatecrasher. Who would not fall for Taylor looking as gorgeous as she does in this snippet?
These lyrics written by Taylor Swift are rumored to be about her short-lived relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. Several lyrics on this track can be linked back to hits from Taylor’s ‘Red’ album.

This makes us wonder if the entire ‘Red’ album was about one person.
