Juice WRLD – Come & Go Ft. Marshmello | Lyrics Meaning & Song Review

Posted on July 9, 2020July 9, 2020 By Adam McDonald No Comments on Juice WRLD – Come & Go Ft. Marshmello | Lyrics Meaning & Song Review

Juice WRLD’s first posthumous album is just around the corner and we get yet another taste of what’s to come with a brand new release “Come & Go” featuring Marshmello. On this track, Juice spits about his take on everlasting relationships and love.

“Come & Go” is the second release off of Juice WRLD’s first posthumous album ‘Legends Never Die.’ The song followed the promotional single release, just days back, titled “Life’s A Mess” featuring Halsey. The album is expected to release on July 9, 2020.

Marshmello took to Instagram to talk about the collaboration and Juice WRLD; “@juicewrld999 was one of the most talented people I have ever met. We were both constantly on the same page when it came to music and the time we spent together were some of the most exciting times I’ve ever had in my entire life. Watching you take breaks to do wheelies on your dirt bike and then come back and finish a whole song in one take was normal and to be able to be on this album with you and show the world what we made together means so much to me. You were a great person and I miss you everyday man. You will live forever through your music. Come & Go drops tonight #LLJW.”

“Come & Go” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review

Verse 1

The first verse of “Com & Go” takes a very confessional tone where Juice WRLD seems to accept all his shortcomings when it comes to relationships and love. He blatantly admits that he is nowhere close to being a perfect partner. However, the silver lining is that he is trying to be the best version of himself, at least for his lover. Through his past mistakes and mess-ups, he strives to be a better person with the help of his love and God. The singer is glad that he has such a wholesome lover by his side. She makes him want to be better and she makes him a better person.

Chorus/Post-chorus

These lyrics seem to admit the value of this relationship the singer is in right now. He understands that it is one of a kind and not something that just comes and goes. This is one for the long haul.

Verse 2

In the second verse of the song, Juice WRLD seems to be attempting to look forward than lament on his past transgressions. He tries to look to the future with his lover and comforts her by saying “stay strong.” However, this might be a message more relevant to himself than his lover.
