Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” was an instant success. The video pretty much went viral courtesy of the new Taylor Swift with a huge dose of POP all over it. The success does not end there. Taylor released the music video for “Blank Space“ from ‘1989’ and it has been a mega hit since day 1 as well. ‘Blank Space’ song from the album was very promising. It is still my favorite track from ‘1989’, which was not an easy decision to make with all other sweet songs like ‘Style’, ‘Out Of The Woods’ and ‘All You Had To Do Was Stay’ etc. However ‘Blank Space’ is the latest single from ‘1989’ and the music video is just perfect for it.

After just 10 days of being released, this music video has gathered nearly 60 million views on YouTube alone. It has also lifted Taylor Swift to yet another Billboard Hot 100 number 01 positions. This is the third time for this year–previously with ‘Shake It Off’ and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’.
In the music video Taylor plays a rich woman (maybe a duchess, even) and beautiful men come and go and Taylor fails to retain them.

You gotta love that second line.
Then Taylor finds out her man is texting some random girl and she loses it. She goes crazy and it’s very nicely shown in the music video. Then Taylor goes on full berserk mode and destroys the guy’s car with a golf stick. He leaves and another guy comes along.
I think it is a very appropriate music video for the content of the song. I don’t know if it’s award-winning good, but it is good.
