Alicia Keys Will Host 2019 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy today announced their host for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards ceremony to be held on February 10, 2019. She received a call conveying the news on 14th Jan and she recorded herself reacting to the announcement.

Alicia Keys, herself, is a 15-time Grammy winner and she will be hosting the biggest night of music awards in February. A month ago, The Academy revealed the complete list of nominations for 2019 Grammy Awards.

Alicia Keys has won Grammy Awards in categories such as ‘Best New Artist’ (2002), ‘Song of The Year’ for “Fallin'” (2002), ‘Best R&B Album’ for ‘Songs In A Minor’ (2002), ‘Best Female R&B Vocal Performance’ for “If I Ain’t Got You” (2005), ‘Best R&B Song’ for “You Don’t Know My Name” (2005), ‘Best Rap/Sung Collaboration’ and ‘Best Rap Song’ for “Empire State of Mind” featuring Jay-Z (2011), and more recently ‘Best R&B Album’ for ‘Girl on Fire’ in 2014.

Alicia Keys went on to deliver the exciting news to all her family members and capture their reactions in a video as well. Undoubtedly, her mother was the most excited after Keys herself. Her husband was asleep and the kids has no reaction at all. It’s hilarious!

Alicia Keys also went on to her costume designers, stylists and even did a photoshoot with her glorious collection of 15 Grammy Awards. Watch the video below.
